The Peninsula Camera Club is one of the oldest photography organizations in the Bay Area, founded in 1950. The club meets every 1st, 3rd, and 4th Tuesdays of each month from 7:30 to 10:00 p.m., January through November, Central Park Recreation Center, Room A, 50 E 5th Ave., San Mateo, CA 94401.

The purpose of the club is to share our images, learn to improve our techniques, and to expand our vision. At most meetings an outside judge critiques anonymous images and provides constructive suggestions for improvement. We often have special programs and field trips which are both educational and fun.

New! Photo Survivor

On the third Tuesday of each month we have a special "just for fun" competition. Each member can bring in a single image related to the theme for that date. Club members at the meeting will "vote off" images until only one survivor remains. Come join the fun!
